Steamboat Springs is about 157 miles northwest of Denver, Colorado. The nearest airport is 22 miles away in Hayden, Colorado. Many of the locals were tourists who just couldn't leave the incredible beauty and easy living in this bustling, fun filled area.

The summer months will keep you busy with three championship golf courses, an indoor-outdoor tennis center, hot air ballooning, hiking, biking, fly fishing, kayaking or horseback riding. Did I mention the Pro-Rodeo series and the Fourth of July Cowboys' Roundup Days? Steamboat Springs has a wide variety of music events, theater and even opera. There is truly something for everyone in Steamboat Springs.

Winter in Steamboat Springs has fantastic skiing (downhill and cross country) with a wide variety of ski events, ice skating, dog sledding, snow shoeing, or you may want to take an old fashion sleigh ride.
