This four-building seaside sanctuary offers a chance to get away from it all amid the unspoiled, uncrowded beaches at Litchfield. The original Sandpiper A and B buildings flank the two Crescent buildings. Sandpiper Run A units are townhouse style. All other buildings' units are on one level. All the buildings surround their community pool with spa and kiddie pool, along with a multi-level cascading waterfall. Guests have access to the community tennis courts, bike and jogging trails. Children not toilet-trained, in diapers or swim diapers are not allowed in pool. Children in swim diapers may use kiddie pool only.

All condominiums are equipped with central heat and air; a kitchen including coffee pot, toaster, dishwasher, microwave, icemaker, and blender; living room and dining area; washer and dryer; and balconies off the living room and master bedroom.

Jet skis, RVs, campers, trailers, and trailered boats are not allowed in Litchfield by the Sea.

Payment Policies

A reservation deposit is equal to half of the total rent. The deposit will be due before the tenth day after your reservation.

The final payment is due 30 days prior to your arrival date. If you reserve six or less weeks in advance, one full, final payment will be payable when the reservation is made. A personal check is acceptable as a form of payment.

For mailed payments, a personal check is always acceptable. For payment at check-in, please have a personal check or cash to pay the balance. Does accept Visa or MasterCard. There is a $25 fee for any check returned due to insufficient funds.

Your reservation deposit will include a $35 reservation fee to cover guest services and administrative costs. Your final payment will include taxes. As of this writing, state taxes are 7 percent and county tax is 3 percent. These taxes are collected on all rents of 90 days or less.

In case of cancellation, there is no refund, unless the same unit is re-rented, confirmed and paid in full, for the same number of days as your original reservation. If we re-rent the unit for less money for part of the time you reserved, the shortage in rent we receive from the new guest will come from your deposit. Your balance, less a handling fee (the greater of $75 or 3%), will be retuned to you.

Cancellations and transfers must be confirmed in writing or fax. Travel insurance is included in your first deposit figure. It is optional, but recommended.
