River Rest is a delightful home on top of Magic Mountain with stunning views of the river and river valley.
Sleeping six, River Rest is a cozy, sunny two bedroom, one bath home with a large landscaped yard, decks, hot tub, and a lot of privacy. All rooms have exposed wood beam ceilings, and the living/dining area has a beautiful fireplace, window seat and panoramic windows looking down the mountainside.
The house is on two acres, with lots of plants, flowers, and trees. There's even a private redwood grove on the property, a perfect spot for meditation. The house and yard itself are sunny and bright all day. One bedroom has a king bed, the other has a double, and there is a queen sleeper in the living room. River Rest is located about 7 minutes west of Monte Rio, 15 minutes west of Guerneville, and 15 minutes from Jenner on the Pacific Ocean. It is only a few minutes drive to quiet Austin Creek and the river beaches at Monte Rio.

Payment Policies
PAYMENTS BY CHECK:
If you are paying by check, we allow you five days to return the signed contract with your payment. If there
is sufficient time, you pay 60% of the rent now and the remaining 40% plus tax, cleaning and damage waiver 30 days
before your arrival date.
PAYMENTS BY CREDIT CARD:
We accept Master Card and Visa. If you are paying by credit card, you must fax back your signed credit card
authorization and the pages of the contract requiring a signature as soon as you've had a chance to review the
contract. Generally we expect it the same day. We will charge the entire balance at once. If the booking is to
occur within ten days we will require credit card authorization by telephone and the charge will be run that same
day.
Once you book a house, that house is off the market to anyone else. Therefore, all payments for bookings are non-refundable unless we re-book the house, in which case there is a $50 cancellation fee. Although we generally do re-book given a reasonable amount of time, there is no guarantee that we will. Full refunds are available if flood warnings affecting your rental are posted within 3 days of arrival date. If prior to or upon your arrival, your house is not available due to any condition or problem beyond our control, we will move you to a reasonably comparable house, providing one is available.
