Location: In an enchanting redwood glade on beautiful Austin Creek, Edgewater Cabin enjoys one of our most serene and lovely settings. It's about ten minutes to Duncans Mills' shopping, dining and kayak rentals. The Pacific ocean beaches are about 15 minutes to the west.
House: While Edgewater Cabin (~680sf) has been lovingly renovated and furnished to make this a cozy and romantic retreat, it retains all its historic 1930's nostalgic charm. The kitchen/living room has eat-in dining for two, a comfy couch, and a wood stove for cool winter evenings. There's a separate TV room with VCR and DVD, and a loveseat which can sleep a small child if you bring the linens. The bedroom has a beautiful queen bed and comfortable reading chairs. If you want to stay connected, there's high-speed Internet access.
Grounds: Edgewater Cabin sits in the redwoods on the edge of year-round Austin Creek. Overlooking the creek, under the redwood trees, there's a hot tub on its own deck, a hammock, picnic table, gas grill, loungers, and a firepit. All there is to see from here is the view across the creek and trees to each side -- no houses.

Payment Policies
PAYMENTS BY CHECK:
If you are paying by check, we allow you five days to return the signed contract with your payment. If there
is sufficient time, you pay 60% of the rent now and the remaining 40% plus tax, cleaning and damage waiver 30 days
before your arrival date.
PAYMENTS BY CREDIT CARD:
We accept Master Card and Visa. If you are paying by credit card, you must fax back your signed credit card
authorization and the pages of the contract requiring a signature as soon as you've had a chance to review the
contract. Generally we expect it the same day. We will charge the entire balance at once. If the booking is to
occur within ten days we will require credit card authorization by telephone and the charge will be run that same
day.
Once you book a house, that house is off the market to anyone else. Therefore, all payments for bookings are non-refundable unless we re-book the house, in which case there is a $50 cancellation fee. Although we generally do re-book given a reasonable amount of time, there is no guarantee that we will. Full refunds are available if flood warnings affecting your rental are posted within 3 days of arrival date. If prior to or upon your arrival, your house is not available due to any condition or problem beyond our control, we will move you to a reasonably comparable house, providing one is available.
