Location: The Dacha is a gracious, river-front home located near the historic Russian Orthodox church in Guerneville, just minutes from downtown's shopping, dining, and nightlife.

House: The Dacha (~1304) Sleeping 8, The Dacha features a spacious river-front bedroom with a king bed and a queen futon. The master bedroom has a queen bed and 46" TV. The third bedroom has two twins. For additional separate sleeping spaces, there are two queen sofa-beds in the living room, providing in all seven sleeping spaces. All bedrooms have televisions. If you need to stay connected, this home features wireless Internet access that works throughout the home and grounds -- even on the riverfront! There is also a computer for guest use. Since this home is level-in from the parking area and is entirely on one level, those with physical limitations will find this home exceptionally accessible.

Grounds: A grass lawn, level for outdoor activities, leads to easy steps on a gently sloped path to a 120' private shoreline; two double kayaks are included. Off the kitchen and living room, there's a deck running the length of the house with gas grill and outdoor dining and a lower deck features a ping pong table. There are stairs from this deck to the rear yard. On the side deck, there's a six-person state-of-the-art Hot Springs hot tub with 44 jets. Redwood trees surrounding the house provide natural air-conditioning.

Note on River Levels: As the dams go in (mid-June to late Sept), the water level may rise to cover the beach (water is about 2 ft deep at the shore), however as the county reduces the water flows over the course of the summer, there may be beach again. We cannot guarantee that there will be beach at any given time.

Please Note: Absolutely no noise/loud music after 10 p.m.; neighbors will not tolerate late night parties.

Payment Policies

PAYMENTS BY CHECK:
If you are paying by check, we allow you five days to return the signed contract with your payment. If there is sufficient time, you pay 60% of the rent now and the remaining 40% plus tax, cleaning and damage waiver 30 days before your arrival date.

PAYMENTS BY CREDIT CARD:
We accept Master Card and Visa. If you are paying by credit card, you must fax back your signed credit card authorization and the pages of the contract requiring a signature as soon as you've had a chance to review the contract. Generally we expect it the same day. We will charge the entire balance at once. If the booking is to occur within ten days we will require credit card authorization by telephone and the charge will be run that same day.

Once you book a house, that house is off the market to anyone else. Therefore, all payments for bookings are non-refundable unless we re-book the house, in which case there is a $50 cancellation fee. Although we generally do re-book given a reasonable amount of time, there is no guarantee that we will. Full refunds are available if flood warnings affecting your rental are posted within 3 days of arrival date. If prior to or upon your arrival, your house is not available due to any condition or problem beyond our control, we will move you to a reasonably comparable house, providing one is available.
