Location: One of our most private river-front homes, Casa de Suenos offers a complete getaway experience. This home is conveniently located within a mile of the movie theater, Pegasus Theater (live), public beach, restaurants, and stores of Monte Rio. Northwood Golf Course is a couple of minutes away. Downtown Guerneville's dining, nightlife and shopping are 10 minutes away. The Pacific coast is 10 miles to the west.

House: Casa de Suenos (~1800sf) mixes the antique and modern with luxurious furnishings, open beam ceilings, built-in cabinetry, a stone wood-burning fireplace, and hardwood floors. The entry to this home is a sun porch with a comfortable seating area and game table surrounded by picture windows that look into the garden. The living room has a very comfortable couch and easy chairs centering on the huge stone fireplace. The kitchen offers a cheery cooking experience with bar seating on polished wood counters and a breakfast table for two. The dining set for six is adjacent, on another sun porch with picture windows that overlook the back yard and river. There's also a desk/office area on this porch. For those who need to stay connected with a laptop, there is wireless high-speed cable Internet access.

Sleeping 6, this home has three bedrooms and two bathrooms. One upstairs bedroom has a queen bed and Cable TV with DVD; the other has a double bed. The bathroom on this floor has a combination tub/shower. Downstairs, the master bedroom suite has its own bathroom, sitting room and dressing room. The master bedroom features a king bed, gas fireplace and chaise lounge, and opens to its own deck with loungers overlooking the rear yard and river. The sitting room has plush couches, high-end stereo, and Cable TV with DVD. The luxury masterbath is tiled in slate and has a double shower.

Grounds: Casa de Suenos' expansive and beautiful grounds ensure there is always somewhere outdoors you want to be. The front yard has an outdoor dining set, gas barbecue, loungers, and Adirondack chairs on a patio, surrounded by beautiful landscaping and trees, including some towering redwoods, enclosed by a lockable privacy fence. There is only a slight step up into the house. Around back, the hot tub has its own deck with privacy plantings, overlooking the back yard and river beyond. The back yard has a large lawn, a lemon tree and a wood sun deck. In the summer, steps lead down to the river and dock, and there are two single kayaks and a canoe for boating.

Payment Policies

PAYMENTS BY CHECK:
If you are paying by check, we allow you five days to return the signed contract with your payment. If there is sufficient time, you pay 60% of the rent now and the remaining 40% plus tax, cleaning and damage waiver 30 days before your arrival date.

PAYMENTS BY CREDIT CARD:
We accept Master Card and Visa. If you are paying by credit card, you must fax back your signed credit card authorization and the pages of the contract requiring a signature as soon as you've had a chance to review the contract. Generally we expect it the same day. We will charge the entire balance at once. If the booking is to occur within ten days we will require credit card authorization by telephone and the charge will be run that same day.

Once you book a house, that house is off the market to anyone else. Therefore, all payments for bookings are non-refundable unless we re-book the house, in which case there is a $50 cancellation fee. Although we generally do re-book given a reasonable amount of time, there is no guarantee that we will. Full refunds are available if flood warnings affecting your rental are posted within 3 days of arrival date. If prior to or upon your arrival, your house is not available due to any condition or problem beyond our control, we will move you to a reasonably comparable house, providing one is available.
