Location: Blackberry Bliss is a romantic cabin on the banks of the beautiful year-round Austin Creek, a 15 minute drive from downtown Guerneville and only a ten to fifteen minute drive to ocean beaches and hamlets, as well as river beaches and other Russian River towns with excellent restaurants, wine tasting, and shopping.

House: Sleeping two, Blackberry Bliss enjoys a private, wooded setting. The cabin features one bedroom with a luxurious queen bird's-eye maple sleigh bed, or for those wishing separate sleeping areas, a second private sleeping room with French doors and a wooden day/trundle bed. All bedding is new and of excellent quality and comfort. There are two high quality bathrooms with all new accessories. The open living/dining/reading room has a cedar beam ceiling, floor to ceiling double French doors with expansive outdoor views, and a charming river rock hearth with wood stove insert. The home is furnished artistically, with many designer details, and includes an eclectic collection of art and artifacts from around the world. The cottage is heated with two wall heaters.

Grounds: With its own private sandy beach, babbling stream, proximity to several emerald swimming holes, and beautiful views of trees from every room, Blackberry Bliss enjoys a setting of peaceful, breathtaking beauty. The grounds are partially shaded and cooled by redwood trees in front of the house and there is a sunny deck and meadow and private creek-front beach in the back. You are only steps away from a private outdoor hot tub and various outdoor seating areas. Views of the stars, sky, forest, flowers and hummingbirds complete the perfect getaway spot.

Payment Policies

PAYMENTS BY CHECK:
If you are paying by check, we allow you five days to return the signed contract with your payment. If there is sufficient time, you pay 60% of the rent now and the remaining 40% plus tax, cleaning and damage waiver 30 days before your arrival date.

PAYMENTS BY CREDIT CARD:
We accept Master Card and Visa. If you are paying by credit card, you must fax back your signed credit card authorization and the pages of the contract requiring a signature as soon as you've had a chance to review the contract. Generally we expect it the same day. We will charge the entire balance at once. If the booking is to occur within ten days we will require credit card authorization by telephone and the charge will be run that same day.

Once you book a house, that house is off the market to anyone else. Therefore, all payments for bookings are non-refundable unless we re-book the house, in which case there is a $50 cancellation fee. Although we generally do re-book given a reasonable amount of time, there is no guarantee that we will. Full refunds are available if flood warnings affecting your rental are posted within 3 days of arrival date. If prior to or upon your arrival, your house is not available due to any condition or problem beyond our control, we will move you to a reasonably comparable house, providing one is available.
